Event Details

At this event we will present research about short and sustainable supply chains into the cities of Plymouth and Rennes, and how they can help to support local food systems. A French delegation will join us to exchange learning on this subject.

We invite local stakeholders, buyers and suppliers in Plymouth to join us to explore the challenges and opportunities of local and sustainable supply chains. This will help to inform this learning exchange and will also support the aims and delivery of the Sustainable Food City Plymouth Action Plan www.foodplymouth.org

We will also be launching the new Plymouth Public Procurement Food and Drink Report, recently produced by Plymouth University post-grad students in collaboration with key public sector buyers.

A delicious locally sourced lunch will be provided. This study and event form part of an EU Interreg funded project.
